Terms and Conditions – GE-FIX Help Desk

Welcome to GE-Fix. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website[https://getecsolutions.com], mobile app  GE-FIX Helpdesk Application, and all related platforms (collectively, the “Platform”) by GE-FIX Limited, meant to be acknowledged by both Customers and Technicians during onboarding.

By accessing or purchasing from our Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making any purchase.

1.       Definitions

 

  • “Customer”, “You”, “Your” – any individual or entity accessing or purchasing from our Platform.
  • “Product(s)” – electronic goods, gadgets, accessories, or services sold by GE-FIX
  • “Account” – a registered profile created by a user on our Platform.

2.  User Types & Roles

Customers

·         Request support for EOL equipment.

·         Provide accurate details about devices and issues.

·         Approve or reject service estimates before work begins.

 Technicians

·         Respond to service requests promptly and professionally.

·         Provide accurate diagnoses and fair estimates.

·         Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.

 

3. Eligibility

To use GE-FIX, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.
  • Have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
  • Provide accurate and verifiable information during registration and checkout.

GE-FIX Limited reserves the right to approve, restrict, or revoke user access at its sole discretion

4.  Service Scope and Limitations

GE-FIX facilitates:

·         Matching of Customers with Technicians

·         Tracking of job requests and progress

·         Secure communication between parties

·         Logging of reports, diagnostics, and service history

 

GE-TECH Limited is not liable for the actual quality or outcome of services rendered by third-party Technicians, except where expressly managed or verified by GE-TECH.

 

5. User Conduct and Responsibilities

By using the platform, you agree NOT to:

·         Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information

·         Impersonate any person or entity

·         Interfere with the app’s operation or security

·         Attempt to extract or reverse-engineer platform data

·         Harass, threaten, or abuse other users

·         Use the platform for illegal or unauthorized activities

 

 Violations may lead to account suspension, termination, or legal action.

6. Payments and Fees

If paid services are offered through GE-FIX:

·         Payments will be processed via third-party gateways

·         Users agree to the terms of those payment processors

·         Technicians and Customers will receive transparent breakdowns of any fees or charges

GE-TECH Limited is not responsible for failed or delayed payments due to third-party systems

7. Account Registration

  • You may be required to create an account to complete a purchase.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

8. Product Information

  • We make every effort to display accurate descriptions, images, and specifications of our products.
  • However, we cannot guarantee that all details (e.g., color, design, dimensions) will be error-free or exactly match the product you receive.
  • Product availability and pricing are subject to change without prior notice.

9. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are stated in [Naira] and include/exclude applicable taxes as specified.
  • We accept (debit/credit card, bank transfer, PayPal, POS, etc.).
  • Orders will be processed only after full payment is received.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order due to pricing errors or suspected fraudulent activity.

10. Shipping and Delivery

  • We deliver across Nigeria.

  • Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the provided address.
  • Please ensure that your delivery address and contact information are correct; we are not responsible for failed deliveries due to inaccurate details.

11. Product Warranty

  • Most electronic products sold by GE-FIx come with a manufacturer’s warranty (typically 6–12 months, unless otherwise stated).
  • Warranty covers manufacturing defects only — not damages caused by misuse, improper handling, power surges, water damage, or unauthorized repairs.
  • To claim warranty service, customers must present a valid proof of purchase and warranty card (if applicable).
  • Warranty repair or replacement is at the sole discretion of the manufacturer or authorized service provider.

12. Returns and Refunds

  • Returns are accepted within [7–14 days] of delivery, provided the item:
    • Is unused and in original packaging.
    • Includes all accessories, manuals, and proof of purchase.
  • Products that have been tampered with, activated, or used are not eligible for return unless defective on arrival.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be issued after inspection and approval within [7–14 working days] through the original payment method.
  • Non-returnable items include:
    • Software and digital downloads
    • Opened earphones/headphones
    • Products damaged after delivery

13. Technical Support

  • We may offer after-sales support and troubleshooting guidance for certain products.
  • Support does not include hardware repairs unless explicitly covered under warranty.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on our GE-FIX Platform—including trademarks, logos, product images, text, and software—is owned by or licensed to GE-FIx.
You may not copy, modify, or use our content without written authorization.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • GE-Tech Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from misuse of our products or services.
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the product concerned.
  • Users accept responsibility for verifying the competence of any Technician outside the platform’s verification scope.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GE-FIx, its affiliates, employees, and agents harmless from any claim, damage, or loss arising out of your misuse of our Platform or violation of these Terms.

17. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy. All personal information collected is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Non-Disclosure Agreement.

18. Termination

GE-TECH Limited may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time for breach of these Terms or misuse of the platform. You may also deactivate your account at any time

19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria.
  • Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through [mediation/arbitration.

20. Amendments to Terms

GE-TECH Limited may revise these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app alerts. Continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance.
